So, there is this new Galaxy S3, but it's actually the Neo version, GT 9301I, and whenever I connect the original headset that it came with, the phone just freezes, if I unplug them it works again. The thing is, if I just keep the headset connected for long enough, it will go into a reboot cycle that will never stop until I unplug the headset. The phone is new, I tried Factory Reset twice and no luck, any other advice please? Is it technical or has it got something to do with software?

Welcome to Android Central! Try booting into Safe Mode, which temporarily disables all 3rd party apps. How to boot the Galaxy S3 into Safe mode? | Support | SAMSUNG Levant. If the problem disappears in Safe Mode, then something you installed is causing the problem. You may have to uninstall apps one by one until the problem disappears. If the problem persists in Safe Mode, then it's more likely to be a hardware or firmware problem. Since the phone is brand new, bring it back to the store, or contact Samsung for warranty repair.

Thanks for the reply, turns out the Google Play Music app was causing a crash, disabled it and everything works like a charm, thanks :)
