Galaxy S III T999 won't turn on besides first startup screen

I was using my Samsung Galaxy S III T999 as normal and the screen randomly turned off. This seems different than other problems I looked up, because those problems seem to be where the screen won't turn on at all, but the most success I can get it is whenever I re-insert the battery, the phone vibrates and shows the "Samsung Galaxy S III" screen for a few seconds and then goes blank and does nothing more. I have tried holding the power button, charging it, going to the delete cache partition menu, holding the power button without a battery, and even just changed to a new battery today, but it's still having the same problems. What can I do?
