No 1080p option for YouTube?

Hey everyone I'm new here, just got my brand new S5 yesterday (at&t) and I notice all YouTube videos are 720p only?
I'm using wifi by the way. Is this normal?

It's a bug on the YouTube app. It's been around for quite some time, and especially in Samsung phones

Most people can get 1080p back by force-stopping the YouTube app, clearing it's cache and data, and opening the app again. Bear in mind that if this does work for you, chances are every time the app updates you'll have to do this again.

This is very disappointing, perhaps a future update will fix this?

I've been waiting for that magic, fixing update to come but so far no luck It is a 'known bug' for many devices, it shows up as a bug in YouTube's list, but it's still not fixed. However, the more reports they get, the faster this might get fixed, so please do report the bug to Google.
