How do I get my s5 back to the way it was on its last update?

AC Question

I was deleting applications t make room for a new update and found my phone to go wonky from it. It deleted all my contacts and some apps are missing that I never deleted. So I tried to do a systems update and come to find out all my pictures I've saved or taken on my phone are now all gone including off of my google account. What do I do?

Welcome to Android Central! It's hard to say, without knowing what you deleted. Can you tell us? If not, it's generally not a great idea to indiscriminately delete things without knowing exactly what they're for.

Are you rooted? If you're unrooted, then there's no way you can delete system apps or preinstalled apps. Did you Disable/Turn Off any of these apps? Did you Clear Data from any of them?

Were all of the photos you took saved to Internal Storage or the microSD card? Have you used a file manager app like MyFiles to look specifically in the /DCIM/Camera directory?
