Chargers issues

I have had my S5 for over a year and from day 1, my charger cord has been falling apart. The plastic is in pieces from the plug that goes into the phone for the next 8". It is covered with electrical tape and still keeps coming apart. Has anyone else been experiencing the same issue?

Don't know what you put your cables through, but I have 2-year-old cables from the Note 3, 1-year-old cables from the Note 4, and a-couple-weeks-old ones from Note 5 and none are falling apart, not even a tear.

Verizon sent me 3 "warranty replacement" Samsung USB 3.0 cables before I even had a phone that used them...maybe your carrier has a stash and can help you out? Or possibly Samsung. I have had excellent results using Twitter for warranty issues, ymmv.
