i got touchwiz on my phone, no use fighting going to factory reset extra details in desc...

i got touchwiz and it ruined my phone, got some google launcher, and hated it, got some off brand of the lolipop and regreted every desicion, decided to factory reset my phone, question is do i take out my micro. and sim card. went on yahoo answers, to wait a long *** time to no avail, but to see some one say "i put my head in my phone case what do i do?!?!?!11?!!?/" and get 20+ comments within seconds, so i decided to come here.

main quesiton: do i need to take sim and micro sd out before factory reseting my phone?
(phone is backed up to a gmail account)


Edit: maybe im too impatient but honestly im done waiting for help so im going to just do it (no pun intended)

I would remove the SD card as it will erase everything on it when you reset. The sim card can stay in the phone.

I would definitely take the SD card out. Sim can stay or go.

Try nova launcher. Best third party launcher out there and worth the money for the paid version.

that was actually quick, thanks! but no harm done in taking both out? i havent done it yet.
i do have the sim card that came with the phone when i got it
