    After the first day, the external speaker stopped working. I can hear sound via the earbuds, but it does not ring, nor have any audible notifications. Did hard reset, soft reset, several times, and still no sound. I have a replacement on order, but they won't have it to me for another week or more! Any ideas on how to fix this? (Tech support had no idea, and said they hadn't seen this before.) Frustrating. Imagine having a phone that doesn't ring for over two weeks.

    Welcome to Android Central! I would guess that the speaker just plain failed. Maybe it was defective to begin with.

    Not really sure what else to try. Can you ask them to expedite shipment?

    If you have shipping confirmation, call the carrier. Whenever I have had a device shipped to me by AT&t, it is usually via FedEx overnight so I out only a day at most.
