Smart Switch quit recognizing the phone after the most recent update,

Smart switch was working fine until the last phone update. Now SS will not recognize the phone. I went through the suggested steps on SS and still remain unable to sync. Any fixes?

Try this
Uninstall smart switch, restart PC, install smart switch, connect phone.

Did that - didn't work!
