How do I perform a hard reset on an S7 Edge?

My S7 Edge seems to have a virus on it already, will preforming a hard reset wipe it off of my phone? How can I do this?

Doing a factory reset should work. Go to settings, back up and reset, factory data reset will be at the bottom of the list. Click that and scroll down to the bottom of the screen and click reset phone. This will put you back to factory settings. Make sure to back up your stuff before you do a reset!

A hard reset as in wiping your device? Just go into settings back up and reset and factory reset.

You can also go into recovery by powering off your phone. Hold the home, volume up and power button at the same time. That will take you into recovery. There you can wipe your cache, factory reset as well as a few other things.

Odd that you need to do resets on your S7 and G5 at the same time.
