Samsung Beta: Nougat Beta available for S7/Edge...kind of

Appears that Samsung Pay app isn't supported under Nougat.

Can anyone else confirm? If so...Samsung Pay for me is the killer app. I'll have to revert if not compatible.

Sorry not sure as we don't have Samsung pay in the UK

I feel like it is very similar in terms of speed but with a few lags here and there occasionally. I will have a bit of spare time this weekend so plan to factory reset it then and set up as new as that's generally the best way to handle big OS updates

Have to say I'm really liking the double tap of the multitasking button to switch to the last used app. Multitasking seems to be very similar to the nougat implementation

Even though you unlock the handset, it'll always be recognised as an EE handset through the software, it's why I used to install the generic software on Samsung's

I registered in the UK with an unlocked device but I've not seen any sign of the update, maybe I wasn't selected?

Anyone who has already updated can you let me know if they removed the "Hold" option from Phone screen once a call is placed? I loved how they moved in further into the menus on the Note 7 Grace UI. I hate each time place a call on there is a 50% chance of me putting the call on hold based on how I move the phone to and from my ear.

I think VOLTE is working on the s7 edge now on EE. I can't find it in the settings but it looks like the phone stays on LTE when making calls. Happy with that!

In fact just noticed you can see the symbol in the status bar of the voicemail call above

I got it this morning, on Sprint, manual download. Seems stable so far, snappier, no lag. I haven't dug into it too deep yet. I like the triple tap magnifier. The Notifications panel is cleaner and streamlined. I like it so far.
