Samsung Beta: Nougat Beta available for S7/Edge...kind of

Keep getting server error 400 when I try.

Also it states in the agreement that only unlocked S7 and edges can participate.

No tmobile sprint and Verizon will work too. At least that's what the app says once you're done registering.

But sadly it seems all registrations are full

I was checking earlier today and it wasn't available. Guess I should have just been checking all day long

The beta page now shows rollout dates for sprint, vzw and tmo.

Downloading the beta now on my Sprint GS7E. File size is 1521.45 MB for me. Getting excited!

Supposedly it's rolled out last night to all UK phones but I never got the OTA so they must be narrowing it down even between the ones that got registered.

Probably obvious but have you tried restarting and checking manually for the update? Worth a try...

I can confirm AOD now displays third party notifications and you can double tap to go straight to it. Finally!

I'm mostly interested in battery life. At present mine is exceptional.

Some of the good things that were present in earlier test versions, such as the display white balance adjuster have been culled. No doubt due to manufacturer pressure.

Not bothered about third party AOD notifications but double tapping to wake would be good rather than constantly having to use a hard button.

Some more audio settings such as bit rate choice etc would be handy too.

I guess most of it will be in I'm ally different to MM and what we've already got with TW.

How stable is this likely to be?

I mean Nougat is obviously not beta as it is out there on a number of phones already. It is just the Samsung integration part I guess so how stable can we expect it to be?

Seems pretty stable to me from my first few hours of use. Only time will tell longer term of course. I've noticed a few animations stutters occasionally but mostly ok.

Nougat has been out for many months as developer previews so samsung has had months to get this right. I would expect this is pretty much final release, just running the beta to make sure no major issues.

This was my view, about to install it...

Appears that Samsung Pay app isn't supported under Nougat.

Can anyone else confirm? If so...Samsung Pay for me is the killer app. I'll have to revert if not compatible.
