Hello.
I bought a Samsung Galaxy S7 edge and I like to know it is original and not used by others. How can I find it?

Thank you.

  • SW Version, PDA, CSC and Modem - *#1234#
    SW & HW Info - *#12580369#
    Test mode - *#0*#
    Service Mode - *#197328640#
    ADC Reading - *#0228#
    Bluetooth Test Mode - *#232331#
    Bluetooth Address - *#232337#
    Ciphering Information - *#32489#

Or you can try *#06# this code will give you the IMEI number of the device. If it does not or it does not match, your phone is fake.
Try the codes mentioned above to check your phones authenticity.

What if you are on Verizon? I cannot use those codes.

Well i do not have idea about verizon. These are the general codes that could be used. *#06# one should work for sure as it just shows the imei number and i guess that is more than enough to show the authenticity.

If i understand your question correctly, its not whether its fake or real, but, rather whether its new or used or refurbished. I don't think you can tell. If a prior owner has done a proper factory reset and logged out of any prior wipe/lock software, then it will be pristine from a memory and software point of view. I think the only way to tell is from a physical point of view. Nearly any amount of use will result in some physical blemish or scratch somewhere. But, if someone bought it at a provider store, had it less than a day and returned it, you'll never be able to tell.
