Odin write fail

[Android Central Question]

Hi, I am trying to flash an updated OS to my Samsung S7 phones (mine and my wife) using Odin3 v 3.13. Using the BL, AP, CP and CSC Home files. However its fails on both phones, giving me this message. All Samsung drivers and cables updated and wroking.

That doesn't look like an Odin-compatible file. And, if you'll notice, it failed up above the 6 second mark (succeed 0 / failed 1). Please register an account here so you can continue the conversation in this thread, then post the beginning lines.

I also tried with an Odin version patched for the SHA256 error and get this

What are the model numbers of both phones and what is the current firmware version on each.
And what is the firmware version you are trying to flash.

Hi, they are both Galaxy s7 running 7.0 (kernel 3.18.31-10376601) and the rom is as downloaded from Sammobile (Andoird 7.0 for o2)

S7 is a model series not the model number of the phone as an example of s7 model number sm-g930*. ( the * should be a letter ) + will need CSC ( 3 letter country/carrier code ) for both phones.
Firmware on phone (which should be enough) in settings - about phone - software Info - baseband version number or it should tell you in download mode.
Firmware name you tried to flash - name of file downloaded from sammobile.eg: G930FXXU1DQLF or provide a link if you can.
