No, I am on Verizon and installed the update this morning. I have been tinkering with the phone for the last few hours and have not yet seen the error message stated in the posts above.

It appears to be tied to using wifi. Force stop does it for me unless wifi resets for some reason. Get a grip folks, it'll get fixed. There's also a thread going on the Verizon community site and they are involved.

After the Verizon update, I'm having issues now with face unlock. Was super fast before update, now doesn't work at all!

Same here. I was using Iris Unlock and before this update it always worked. Now, half the time it can't recognize my irises and fails.

I recall that they added a security update to stop the face unlock from being fooled by pictures, that would explain the longer recognition.

Anyways not using it until it is fixed is stupid, just reset the phone!

I'm not taking the update. I like having Bixby remapping as a choice and it seems like it's caused nothing but problems. I couldn't care less about a security update.
