Text Message Read Notification???

Samsung S9, Verizon.

I believe that I read in a previous thread that a recent System Update was to Notify the Sender when a Text Message was actually Read by the Recipient.
This may heve been Verizon specific.
So, I am on Verizon, just downloaded System Update 13 and don't see any change in the way my texts are being shown.

Any Advice or information????

You have to make sure chat settings are activated with Samsung Messages and then the recipient has to be on Verizon, use Samsung Messages (or Message +) AND be using an S9. I think if you and your recipient are both using Verizon's Message+ then the chat feature could work. I'm not sure about a notification for when the recipient has read your message, but that's because I have no one meeting all those requirements who I text.

With all those requirements for RCS to work, it's basically like we still don't have it. RCS became available with update 12. Update 13 was just a security update.
