Unable to select custom ringtone

Hi everyone -

I have downloaded many ringtones and notification sounds in MP3 format. But when I go to Settings > Sound to replace the default ringtone or notification, they are not showing up in the list for me to select.
I placed the files in the Ringtone and Notification folders of the sdcard (not the extSdcard), but my S3 doesn't include them in the list of selections.

Has anyone experienced this before? What did you do?

Have you tried a reboot to let it rescan for the media?

Found the solution.. The files should be in the /media/ringtones or /media/notifications folders. Previously, I put them in the Ringtone and Notification folders in the root folder. Is there any impact if I delete those folders?

Hello my friend..you must reset the application...first go settings, then aplication manager then reset all reference..thats all...go back to sound, you may see all device ringtones..
