I have a GT-P5113 Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 Wi-Fi tablet running Jellybean.

What is happening is that intermittently it is rebooting. I boots fine, can sit unused for hours, but when i launch a game, it can reboot. Sometimes, it waits until I have launched several games to reboot.

I tried going into Odin, but when it gets there, it just hangs. The screen says:

ODIN MODE
PRODUCT NAME: GT-P5113
CUSTOM BINARY DOWNLOAD: NO
CURRENT BINARY: SAMSUNG_OFFICIAL

Under the picture of the android, it says:

Downloading...
Do not turn off target!!

But it has been there for over an hour and never changes.

Ideas?

Odin mode is specifically for downloading new software to the device. Boot into recovery mode and clear the cache. It may help. It is power button and volume key up, if i remember correctly.

When I boot with PWR+Volume Up, I get a screen that says:
--------------------------
Warning!!
A custom OS can cause critical problems in the phone and installed applications. If you want to download a custom OS, press the volume down key. Otherwise, press the volume up key to cancel.
--------------------------
When I press the volume down key, it brings me to the screen that I mentioned earlier and just hangs there. When I press volume up, it reboots.

How do I get into recovery mode?

Sorry! The pwr and volume down button then should take you to the recovery screen where you can clean the cache
