Delivery Receipts

This may be a general Tizen question, but I have the Gear S3 Frontier so I'm going to ask here first. On my Verizon Samsung S8+ I like to use Verizon's Message+ app with delivery and read receipts to know that people got my messages. Problem is the Samsung Message app picks up the receipts and sends them to the watch as an incoming SMS. Does anybody know how to make Samsung Message ignore these and not send them to the watch as notifications??
