My battery life only gets better, my epic would die in a few hours in an area with bad reception , and this bad boy last all day with everything on. I had no power saving features on. The second picture is from when I traveled back to town and was streaming from Amazon mp3 let my son watch a movie and 4g on most of the day.

I had to laugh this weekend. Was at an event with my friend who had her razr. Whichever version with the big battery. Is that the maxx?

Anyway she was quite proud of her phone's big battery, telling me it lasts 2 days.

Her phone died half way through the first day, we were in a building and our phones were working hard to keep any connection.

My phone went to about 45% at the end of the day. Hers had died by 2pm. Note 2 wins.

How are you all getting this great of a battery life?! One thing that drew me to getting this phone is the supposedly great battery life. Well today is my first full day after charging to 100% and this is the most ive got before it turned red.

Im in a state with no LTE (yet) so i turned my mobile network to CDMA only. Would it be fine if i put it on automatic or just CDMA? Also noticed that it has GSM/UMTS network mode....does that mean something useful to us despite only being CDMA....hmmmm

I am loving this battery. I have wifi, gps, and bluetooth running all the time. After a full day at work (12 hour shift) and plus some, I still have 50% battery life left.

Note that I use ActiveSync for email (which really drains your battery) and I was streaming Podcasts over 3G during the morning commute. There's no way my old E4GT would have made it even 8 hours on a full charge.

Everyone with 7hrs plus of screen time is great. Also can I ask why some of you are running battery saving apps. They don't really help.
Just my two cents. Can't wait until I have mine in hand soon. I would love to have 7hrs of screen time. Right my my NexusS4g gives me 2.5 plus screen time.
