Lock Screen dims too quickly

I'll bring the phone out of standby and put it down for a second so I can punch in my PIN, only to find the screen off by the time I pick it up. It literally lasts about 4 seconds after I've hit the power button. Is there a way to change this?

Screen timeout under power savings mode category is set for 2 minutes.
Screen timeout under display category is also set for 2 minutes.

Look under Location & Security in settings. There is an option to change the time under Timeout.

I think what you're looking for can't be changed. I'm guessing they have it time out quick so that of you inadvertently press power in your pocket, the screen won't stay on all day killing the battery

Yea I looked closer & see that it only controls the time when the device actually locks when the screen turns off...
