sound/bluetooth issues

I got a trumpeting elephant sound, being the little conservative that i am. Problem is, it trumpets through my bluetooth and my speaker at the most in opportune times!! How do it get it to stop using the speaker when on bluetooth?? Samsung Galaxy SII Epic Touch from Sprint. 4.04. Any help appreciated.

Try an app named SoundAbout. It has an option called "Notifications to speaker" that you can turn off.
