I am just assuming here, but.....


Did you call Sprint to activate the hot spot wifi feature?


I believe you can also do it on your online Sprint account or at least check it's status.

You may need a rom with hotspot hack to use sprint hotspots w/o paying $30 per month. If you are rooted, you can use wifi tether (search Google for android wifi tether) it downloads a .apk from a Google code website

With the help of this forum (for rooting) and wifi tether i was able to connect my pc and if i place my mopho near the window i can get 4g speed also.
