Rejects phone calls when picking up the phone

Hey Guys,

I just bought a Galaxy S3..and Im not sure whats going on...I Think I might have a defective phone. Every time someone calls me I go pick up my phone from the table or my pocket. .right when I pick up my phone it rejects the phone call. Like some motion thing makes it hang up? I tried turning off the motion sensor that didn't help. Not sure if this is a defect or am I missing something in settings? This is frustrating..Anyone know how to fix this or do i need to go back to store and get a new one?

any help would be nice

oh btw Im with SPRINT not sure how to change the "At&t galaxy III"

hey Jason,

welcome to the forums. I'm hoping a mod will move your thread to the correct section. I have not heard of this problem yet, but this would be best put in the General S3 Section, or in your case, maybe the Sprint S3 Section.
That would give you the best chance of getting help from the forums here. Give it a day or so and you will get better suggestions on fixing your issue.
