Alright, Android Pro's.. Help me with my new G2

My G2 will be here next week, this is after months of saying I was going to get an EVO. I already had TMobile though, and they offered me a deal, so what could I do?

I love the look and feel of Sense, but heard it is buggy. Can I still download some HTC Sense widgets on my new phone? I know this is silly, but I really want that rainbow bubble live wallpaper, too. Can I put Sense widgets or pieces on this? Do I have to install the full OS? Is that possible?

Those are my minor girly requests.
What else should I do to hack this and make it awesome?

You'll have to download Beautiful Widegets to get what you want.

look around xda or google "Fancy Widget" for the clock and weather widget that is a rip-off of Sense. as for some other Sense-like clock widgets, i think you can find some in the Market. Not much hacking going on with the G2 at the moment, because we are still waiting for permanent root, but after that happens you will more than like be able to install the Desire Z's Sense rom when that gets dumped.
