What are the plans available from T-Mobile for the Nexus S?

I am planning to buy the Nexus S unlocked. I was wondering how much money I would save buying the phone unlocked compared to signing a two year contract with T-Mobile?

Should just be able to look at their data plans online. No special data plans for the Nexus. I assume you do not have a TMO account.

If you buy the phone unlocked you used to be able to get a discount on the plan. They dumped that option recently so you're stuck with their everything plus plan.

this is incorrect...

although the Even More PLUS plans aren't available ONLINE, they can still be signed up for either over the phone with T-Mobile customer service, or in person at a T-Mobile store. Saves $20 per plan vs the Even More on-contract pricing.

Cheaper in the long run to buy it for $529

There is a $20/month difference between the contract and no contract plans (Even More vs. Even More Plus respectively). So $20 x 24 months = $480 in savings on the no contract (Even More Plus) plan.

Buying the Nexus S unsubsidized will cost you more up front, but will actually save you money over 2 years.

With Contract: $199 + $20x24months = $679

No Contract: $529 - That's $150 in savings

You break even in a year and a half and you have an option of switching to a cheaper pay as you go walmart plan when they come out.
