Hugest yawn possible. The specs aren't really the problem in the OnePlus line, it's that they're in the OnePlus line. It won't be hard to improve over teh Two, but the Three is not exciting at all unless there are some major departures from their former strategy.
Anything about what size battery the One Plus 3 will have?
Go on. All I know is what I've read on the Internet and that my friend likes his 1+1. I think I'll be getting the 6p, but when i saw these specs i couldn't help but take notice and wonder about the 1+3
The invite system turned me off too. I can understand for the first one for a while, but at some point well within the first year, they should have had some idea what numbers to produce for the phone. When they went t the invite system again for the Two, they lost me.
There's word that they are moving away from that system, which I agree with you and also think it's in their companies best interest, but I guess we'll have to wait and see what happens
The phrase, 'Flagship killer' needs to be exactly that. And the 2 didn't seem like it. The 1 did give any flagship a run for it's money, but the 2 seemed to be a bit clumsy in that aspect. It's these 2 reasons, why i don't really consider them a decent player int he smartphone area.
The one would have been a mediocre to decent device without the invite system and without the nonsensical advertising and if it had better software. The two was just a bad device with even more blundering from the marketing. The three I'd expect to be a very well spec'd device that still has bad software, semi-okay but mostly bad design that is going to miss on a bunch of fundementals. If they call it a "flagship killer" again, they should be laughed out of the room. To be a flagship killer, it needs to be not only cheaper than flagships, because the Moto G does that... but it needs to be objectively better than the flagships (in this case S7 Edge, Note 6, HTC 10, Nexus devices put out this year, iPhone 7, etc, etc), and the one and two weren't even close.
I do agree that the Three needs to be near top of the line with a cheaper price point in order for them to think about using the term Flagship killer, which has been a misnomer.
I get that it is in the company's best interests, but at the same time, there are other ways to measure how the market feels toward your device without already committing to producing a certain number of units.

So the only way to buy this phone is to get invited? Lost on this. If someone could explain lol.
i heard it may launch the end of may. if the $300 price point is true it may replace my n5x. even if they still use the invite system it isnt hard to find one if you look. i love the leaked photos, it looks like a mesh of the n6p, s7 and htc 10.
Well the 1+1 has 3100 mAh, the 1+2 has 3300 mAh & you wouldn't expect the number to decrease so my guess is 3500 mAh
