Thanks for the link. I seriously hope this turns out to be true. Of course, my expectations are way low, but damn, this would be awesome.

Those forums most of the time seem to be just people padding their post count but I hope this is true.

The problem is in forums like these, anybody can post anything. It is very easy to claim, well, I have a friend whose sisters husband is (make up a title) at VZW. They claim they saw (make up whatever you'd like).

At this point, until it shows on Verizon's website, or one of the really annoying ads that this forum has at the top of the page, it isn't true.

I think it is kind of shady that the person who posted it posted it and then said he has to leave and wouldn't be back for a few hours. Maybe just trying to drum up more hype?

I used to be like that too. It wasn't until very recently that mind set changed. I was like that while waiting for the Droid Bionic to be released. Unfortunately, even with the delay's and completely changing the phone that ended up being labeled Bionic, we still received a phone with some major bugs (the 4G, 3G comes to mind). Those bugs may have been addressed if it had not been rushed to market as quickly as it was.

Maybe there are some good reasons we haven't been given a release date for the Nexus.

Eh, read more of the thread, the guy seems like a troll. How can you trust someone who has previously lied about the Galaxy Nexus? Story just doesn't add up. He has tons of free time (judging by the 346 posts in 20 days), first rumor he started says his MOM's student's mom (>implying he's young, why else would he be at her house), and now his newest rumor says his friend at a VZW store blah blah. Usually, young people aren't friends with managers at Verizon Wireless stores.

Tomorrow sounds great. Only problem is there is nothing from Verizon, Google, or Samsung that makes that date sound plausible.
