They will simply say something like "The Galaxy Nexus by Samung is now available at Verizon Wireless" on the day it is available.

An email from the director of marketing in our building to me reads, and I quote "nothing official has been announced. We haven't even had the official press release yet. Until that happens, we know nothing"
Assuming you are who you say you are... that pretty much seals the deal on no release tomorrow. Regardless if they weren't going to promote the phone, that guy would know something.
Sounds like he is basically saying "he" is in the dark just like everyone else. Nice to see that VZW and its employees have no idea of what tomorrow will bring.

no... that says that nothing official has been announced, and until something official is announced, they officially know nothing.
it doesn't mean that they don't unofficially know nothing.
inter-communication between higher ups doesn't usually go on "official" word. a regional director of marketing would know AT LEAST something.

I've gotten to the point that i dont care when it comes out now, the exact same thing happened with the tbolt launced, we all blew up in here kept on complaining about the release of the phone and to no avail. finally the phone got released and we had problems with it, then everyone was complaining why did the phone get released if it wasnt ready lol. were just never satisfied are we. same thing will happen with this phone too. we will complain about it once it gets released and all over verizon for releasing it. thank god my tbolt is finally running great. if its not out tomorrow oh well, life goes on

this is such a lie and you're in huge denial trying to calm yourself down. you know you care about when it comes out.
plus, it's obviously been delayed to address software issues/bugs/etc especially with the latest update now being pushed out to devices so that when we purchase the phone, an update will be immediately ready and available to download OTA.
the fact that the OTA software update is now pushing out should mean the phone's release should be imminent (thursday or friday)
i dont understand what i'm lieing about? the tbolt release? or the fact that i've had enough of this fiasco? of that my bolt is running great now? i did care about the release but not so much now and thats the honest truth. and yes they had an announcement a couple days before it was launched, so i hightly doubt its tomorrow. like i said in a thread i started the other day and then it was deleted from here for some reason. its most likely going to launch on the 23rd, just spoke to a friend of mine that works at verizon corporate store and he said they havent receieved any word yet for a release tomorrow, my cousin works at bb he asked about the phone and the mobile dept,. told him on friday the 23rd.
That totally has got to mean we shall see it tomorrow right?Not for anything, but when speaking to phone sales today, they told me that nothing was in there computers about a release & that's usually the only way to know if something is to be released. She did tell me that, at one point, The Nexus was scheduled to be released recently (she didn't tell me which rumoured date it actually was), but it dissapeared off their computers. I hate to say this becuase I can't wait for this phone, but I think we're in for another week of rumours.
