As I stated Cyber I was talking a lot on the phone today but my big surprise was that it did not die like it would have by being off the charger, therefore; I posted a pic for the people that are having similar to the same problems I did while phone being off the charger. I don't watch movies on my phone I am still new to it so I will play the silly games and talk. I was/am just happy that my phone or battery is not defective and wanted to share my story.I'm at 6 hours and 57 minutes with 45% left with moderate-heavy usage...4G signal all day long ...so it is possible... it depends on what you have running on your phone. Yesturday I had 16 hrs with light usage. Now that I can screen capture.. I will post my percentages later tonight showing what I have running/used and overall battery time.
Your battery life is going to vary between each person. Not everyone has the same conditions when it comes to using the phone.
Yayyy, Happy for you , I know it feels good to know that all is not lost with battery life.Battery life has improved for me, I took the phone off the charger at 9:15 and its 5:45 and I am at 69%. In 4g all day. Took a few short phone calls and emails, little scrabble, and read some XDA forum on the ****ter. Not bad!
Hi forgetful tyyyyy for helping meWow your battery is better than mine now. Good to hear it all worked out. These smart phones are wonky.
Yayyy, CongratssssMe too. Bump charge and I remove task killer. Phone has been unplugged since 8 am. Heavy use since then and I'm still at 67%!
Hi Brown did you try bump charging it helped me a lot.My battery died at 630 pm. RIP. Hardly any usage. Full charge at 8. Charged again at noon and died again. I'm on a 6 hr cycle.
Hi Brown did you try bump charging it helped me a lot.
I think I did. I charged it all night. Unplugged. Then recharged as I got a shower. When I took it off it was at 99%. 20 mins later on my way into Philly it was down to 85%.
the thread that helped me was Juice defender/Blockbuster.. Check out page 4 on that threadI think I did. I charged it all night. Unplugged. Then recharged as I got a shower. When I took it off it was at 99%. 20 mins later on my way into Philly it was down to 85%.
Yayy CongratsAfter configuring my phone according to the battery saving tips in the sticky thread as well as bump charging it to a green led, I unplugged my thunderbolt from the charger at 7:30AM. It is now 6:45PM, and after somewhat heavy use of my thunderbolt, it is now sitting at ~43%. I'm happy =)
Wow nice!! Thanks for sharingModerate Use.. 4G all day, Bluetooth all day, Browsing the forums off and on all day, 30-45 minutes of phone calls, a few text messages, around 40 emails received/10 sent = 11 Hours with 15% battery left. On light days, I easily get 16-17 Hours.

the result from my initial charge lasted me about 15 hours; however, on my second charge it went down to 4 hours....WTF!! i'm trying to find out what apps are running in the background that may be causing this dramatic reduction. a point to note, i was home for the first 10 hrs. of usage on wifi, and the remaining hours where i was at work and on 4G. wonder if this is the issue?
I just woke up an hour ago, had a full charge, and am already at 80%. I dont use ANY widgets expect the power one and the clock. Screen is about 65% and im using the wifi here at work. I have barely touched my phone all morning other than looking at twitter on the can. Any suggestions?
