Deleting your activity and history doesn't devalue the importance of monthly updates.

What do you have on your phone that is so important.
Banking info.
Pictures of somebody.
It's like its national security.
It gets a lot of places you have been out of your history.
Makes your phone run better.
No telling what might of been hiding in a email.

I’ve been happy with my Nokia 7.1 Android One monthly updates. Pretty timely and, I agree, important to me.
Cyber security is extremely important. Do you use Google Pay or Samsung Pay? Do you use your phone for mobile banking? These vulnerabilities that they patch aren't just to stop people from grabbing bunches of existing data. They could allow people to monitor your device in the background without you knowing. All the whole grabbing your personal data.
If you don't think this is important you need to reevaluate your priorities when it comes to this kind of stuff...

Those you of who have their 4XLs, do you notice sometimes when you face unlock your phones, the always on display clock displays over the home screen for a second after the phone unlocks?
It’s important for all of us to prioritize what aspects of a smartphone we feel most important.
I couldn’t purchase the Pixel due to lack of expandable storage and 3.5mm headphone jack. It certainly is an excellent phone though.
