2.1 Lite!!! Option 4

I've been noticing a bizarre bug with this 2.1 lite package. At random any kind of audio output goes bye-bye... calls through the receiver, speaker, notification sounds, ringer... I mean everything. Also, when this happens, if I press the volume up/down button to change the ringer volume, the phone lags HARD and then will either lock up on me... or just reboot on it's own. Any ideas?

I wonder if audio issue is on phones marked Google on the back or not or is there a manufacture before/ after date?
There would almost have to be some common factor.
I don't go on xda much, does anyone know if anyone has found a commonality?

I think all the factors have been looked into read the link above gbhil post pretty much covers it.
I have a phone with google branding on the back and it hasn't had audio problems.

I ended up flashin the ERIS patch, and the audio problem is gone... thank goodness 
I just realized tho... VVM is gone
Can someone post the files to push via ADB? ^^ (or is this not possible)

The second post has the zip with vvm in it you can just flash it threw recovery.I ended up flashin the ERIS patch, and the audio problem is gone... thank goodness

Also, a big thanks for postin this in the first place! I'm not a fan of Sprint bloatware
Also make sure usb debugging is selected if you get just a black screen when tryin to get root access with drocap2.
It will be soon or later.If i understand it right we need the source for the new kernel before it can happen.
I flashed Option 4 today. Went great took all of 5 minutes to reboot!
I think I need to do apps2sd but don't have a clue on how to back up the sd card. I assume partitioning means it gets wiped in the process?

Yeah, you're right, it wipes everything off of it.
Just mount the card to a computer and copy/paste into a folder. You can just copy paste back to the card after partitioning.
Apps need to run off of an EXT partition, everything else gets stored into a FAT32 partition. The longest part of the process is backing up and restoring.

Thanks! I'll give it a go hopefully tonight.
Does this automatically set partition sizes or do I have to do that? If I do, what sizes? I just have the 2gb card.
