2.3 Update Fail

Normally my boyfriend, friends and I get our OTA updates days and weeks apart from eachother, but last night 5 of us got the notification that there was a new system update and 3 of us didn't notice any difference after installing.

We 3 all are using the Motorola Droid and we have different versions; 2.2.2, 2.2 and 2.2.1.

Did anyone else's update not go through?

Updates like 2.2 to 2.2.2 is usually minor bug fixes and you won't notice anything that looks different.

I don't know...I have the optimus v & just today in settings> about phone> sw update..quote, your system update is available unquote. I pushed install but nothing happened, just rebooted into recovery mode. I'm not a beginner with phones but I am with android. What's up with my phone??
