3-button inline control wired headphone/buds: Is NOCS really the only one?

Being a newbie, and having spent a ridiculous amount of time over the past few day checking forums, googling, looking at manufacturer websites, it would appear that on the one hand there is demand (or at least a wish for) in the Android community for real (not software implmentation) 3-button control on wired (not bluetooth) headphone/earbuds, similar to what Apple folks have.

The ONLY model I have found that is wired (not bluetooth), with inline mic and real 3-button control is from NOCS.

Does anybody else know of anything else like this?

Here is the NOCS NS200H:

And with their own Noc Remote Control App available at Google Play

Anybody else have thoughts on this?

Any other and/or best 3-button or other hardware controller for wired headphone andor earbuds, inline mic?

fyi: The NOCS is $69, and the very email responsive customer representative said they are no longer making it, and only have a few left. So I got one.

Hrrumph. It seems like there is some unmet demand for and frustration for this, and with all the look-alike earbuds and headphones, one might hope that somebody -- hint, hint -- would do 3-button control as their unique special thing.

P.S. and by the way:
1. No, Apple does not have a patent on this. They have their own specific implementation (in the wiring and software), that makes their 3-button not compatible with Android. But it can be done for Android, as proven by the the several DIY versions I have seen online, and also the NOCS per above.
2. One real difficulty is that the Android anything goes no standardization environment, means that different manufacturers and different models of Android phones and tablets have different controller specs. Player App only partially overcomes this.

I contacted Sol Republic because their cans had a wire that had an inline control. They replaced it with one that is now compatible with certain android models, but when I sent an email asking if the new cable shipped with the package, no response. Plus they were uncomfortable so I went with Noontec Zoros and will switch out the cable to one recommended by innerfidelity.

Funny you should reference the V-Moda cables...

Sine I am leaning to supplement. The Nocs buds with the v-Moda over ear, probably the 80 model which can get now for about $170-180 now that new more expensive 100 model is coming out. But still no 3 button for Android in full head phone and only Nocs 200 in ear buds.
