4G outage on Verizon

Did you try pulling the SIM? Apparently this is what Verizon people are saying to do now too.

I'll try that when I get home from work, what a pain.

No 3G or 4G in Minneapolis anymore. Re-starting the phone was working for me all day (4G would stay on for about an hour). Now I'm not getting 3G or 4G and rebooting is doing nothing. I don't have a red x though. Hopefully it fixes soon as I'd like to have up-to-date traffic info on Waze for the commute home.

Just hit me here in California. Had no problems until about 10 mins ago. Not getting 3g or 4g. Pulled Sim, restarted, played with airplane mode.. Nothings working.

Well, As i posted on page 3 of this thread, my 4G was restored after the new VZ-installed Sim was able to register....Then about 5 minutes ago, i lost 4G all over again....It doesnt appear that disabling LTE and running on CDMA only is working - even after a reboot

What I love about the whole thing is that when you call, they say it will be fixed soon. But it seems as though it is getting larger in area. I would say this is becoming a major outage.

Interesting thing, since we get data service from the slooooowwww 3G, we can't ask for a refund. I am sorry to report that I have been down now for 24 hours.

Yup RAZR 4G is out in Detroit MI. I've had no data (3g or 4g) for about 2 hours. I just got my 3g back. I had the red X. Verizon rep said they are still trying to find out the problem. My theory, DAMN NEXUS!!! lol

Maybe thats why they held back on the release of the phone. System can't handle the traffic. Reminds me of the days when the iphone came into it life on AT&T

Yeah, Verizon can't launch the Galaxy Nexus when their LTE network is having outages. Not a good look at all.

Now lost 3g & 4g in Austin Texas. Was good till about an hour ago. Atleast the phone still can make and receive calls.

3g just came back in Minneapolis. Its been holding for about twenty minutes. That's the longest time I've had consecutive data all day. Still no 4g.

Err... cancel that, just got bumped down to 1X

My phone died around noon today after updating / downloading and installing near 30 apps. Turned it back on around 5 to discover that I too have no 3g / 4g. Restarted, airplane toggle, nothing. I don't really need the phone for the rest of the day so I'm perfectly content sitting here tugging on myself. Hopefully it's resolved by tomorrow.
