4GLTE?

Disappointed much? I live in NYC, i'm on 25 and Broadway most of the day and i can barely get 4G, it flips to 3G all 4 bars nearly the whole day but hardly gives me 4G and i think that's kinda weird to have such bad coverage in Manhattan...

Anyone else?

Probably just your area, I don't think mine has been on 3G since I've had it.

yeah it might be your area, I'm on 26th and Park Ave had a similar issue now that I'm back home uptown Manhattan no problem with 4G. did you get your bionic from 34th street?

My office is on 47th and park but my buildiing is a death zone for cellphone coverage. Most times i go from 3g to 1x but when at home in the Financial District i have a solid LTE connection. Even when i step outside my office my bionic grabs 4G LTE.

I could also be due to what kind of radio you have. There is HSPDA and LTE. Generally from what I learned, HSPDA has a lot of trouble penetrating biuldings and large structures. On the other hand, LTE has a better and greater penetration on structures hense the big push for the latter on the big companies.

I'm in Manhattan as well and I've had fully uninterrupted 4G since I picked it up last night.

I havent seen my phone switch to 3G yet. I get a steady 4G signal.

When I was in a full 4g area, I had no issues. Where I live is a 4g extended area, outside is 4g, inside is 4g upstairs with no issues but bounces back and forth between 3g and 4g on my 1st floor.

It's really a non issue since I use wifi at home anyway.

I get solid 4G outside, but can't even keep a 3G signal in my office. :'( My office is underground tucked away in the corner of the building. Such is the life of an IT geek.
