5.0.1 for Nexus 6?

Hi guys - one question about Lollipop (also spelled lollypop by those with questionable grammar :P)

My Nexus 10 (yes I have one of those awesome things) has upgraded itself to 5.0.1 - but my brand new Nexus 6 says it doesn't need an upgrade on top of 5.0? I press check for updates and it claims to be fully up-to-date?

Is this the case? Is it that 5.0.1 is for older devices to adapt to Lollipop or is my phone just being temperamental?

Apologies for all the question marks XD

Appreciate any comments to reassure me my phone is functioning at full capacity ;)

I just got my update to 5.01, it's optimizing my apps now.

Mine went faster than any other phone in the past. Maybe I have a lot less apps.

It blows through the core/system apps like they're nothing. Slows down on everything else.
