You probably have the LTE version of the tablet. That one is way behind on updates.

It's a Nexus 7 (2012), WiFi only. I purposely got a Nexus because I thought it would be the most certain to get updates. :-|

This forum is about the 2013 version. I am not sure if the 2012 is on the same schedule. There is a dedicated 2012 Nexus 7 forum.

Got mine yesterday. Very smooth. So far the only app that has problems is Cox Contour, which was flaky before. Now it just crashes.

They must be moving on down the list, since I got it. Did not get 5.0 before. Seems that I'm just about right in the spot on the distribution list. Not the bleeding edge, but right after the first fix.

Well, I used to have horrible lag after playing an intensive game, but no longer... Haven't even wiped cache partition. So far so good....

Had mine waiting in the notification bar for the last several days and have been ignoring it because I didn't want to install it yet and now all of the sudden it is gone . did they pull the update? Anybody know what's up?

No they have not pulled the update. I suspect the notification just timed out somehow and got cleared. You should see it again in a few hours

Are you sure? I even went into the system update on the setting and manually checked and it says my system is up to date.

Got mine a couple days ago. Battery seems to be draining a little faster than KitKat. Nothing bad but a little faster draining observed.

It's getting hot/warm as well which you can feel in the top part of the tablet. Never had this with KitKat.

Mine is gone as well. I was waiting to install and now even if I click the check for update it still said I'm up to date at 4.4.4. I'm thinking they found more bugs and I'm glad I didn't install earlier this week! But, I'm sorry you are having a problem... That was why I was afraid to try it,
