5.9.905?

Not very happy with this update so far. It killed my battery today and my 3g was disconnected for an hour. I'm getting soaked.

With the 902 update I remember seeing the Verizon support docs updated a couple of days before the update was available to all. If I were a betting man, I would expect that 905 will be available by the end of the weekend.

You can always load the 905 leak instead. There is no difference.

I got my update a couple of days ago, the numbers are identical to Android_Lee's and, like him, I also kept root.

My roommate also has a Bionic and hers hasn't updated yet. I'm a part of the Motorola Feedback Network and she's not, although I don't know if that makes any difference. She hasn't checked yet today since she hasn't gotten out of bed yet.

From some other posts, I understand the official, final 905 isn't being pushed at this point, but may in the not-too-distant future.

Ive been north and south across the country the last week using the navigator on my bionic. I had some real connectivity issues around Nashville and Louisville KY. Happened going south and back north. I hope this update fixes this. I lost connectivity for hours in those areas on the interstate. Nothing would help, airplane mode, reboots, etc.....

My wifes iphone and my daughters dumb phones seemed to stay connected the whole time?

Kentucky is a weird zone for all wireless. There is a monopoly almost state wide, and they charge like crazy for roaming. Also, at a guess, you have data roaming off?

As a professional truck driver I've all over KY on interstates and state hyways, used a T-Mobile Dash and never lost connection. But the phone was a piece of junk and T-M won't work in some cities but KY didn't have any of them!

I just checked for the update on my phone it was available for download. Up to about an hour ago it said no update available.

Has anyone else been prompted to install 5.9.905? I was so i told it to download but it doesn't look like anything is happening. When I go back into system updates it just tells me "An update is currently being downloaded. You will be notified when the download is complete." I think the download was about 45MB and it has been about 30 minutes so it should have downloaded by now (I'm on WiFi). I also rebooted and got the same message. Just curious is anyone else is seeing this or not.

Patience, patience, patience.

Whohoo i pushed for mine installed this morning. It may just be coincidence but the area i did my update in i kept loosing 4g/ data been updated for over 2 hours haven't lost 3 bars of 4G. I AM NOT LOSING HOPE

Installing now. We'll see whether I keep root in the process, but I can pull backups from RootKeeper if necessary.

ETA: The OTA update killed root, Voodoo OTA RootKeeper got it back, Titanium Backup complained about the permissions (actually the ownership, judging from the error message) of su but was able to fix it on its own. I'm up, running and rooted on 5.9.905.

I had the same experience. The last update Voodoo didn't help me at all, but his time around it redeemed itself.
