I was all excited to download some apps and now I feel deflated.
I have zero use for this

I ordered mine on January 1st and it came with the $50 card. I thought it was only good for music, so I was planning on ignoring it. This thread made me realize that I can buy some apps too, which is awesome

Another reason to use it, it gives you YouTube Red -- commercial free YouTube -- as well as Google Play Music. Depending on how much you watch videos on YouTube, it can be worth it for that alone.
