Will you guys do a factory data reset with Marshmallow?

I believe that if you wait a week or two to update after Marshmallow comes out, any bugs that would require a factory reset should be ironed out and you won't need one.

not me, I have never done one because of an update and been using droid's since the original droid.

Ok. It's just that my horrible battery life may warrant one. We shouldn't have to be plugging in the phone in the afternoon to make it to the evening with just a few hours of screen on time

Has anyone else notice mass updates to apps? Seems most google apps, and major content apps have updated in the last week or so. Always wondered if it was tied to upcoming updates/

Interesting...just the build number appears to have incremented from 23 (on my stock Turbo 2 from November) to 24. No mention in the version of Verizon either -- my current version shows 23.31.23.kinzie_verizon.verizon.en.US . It would appear that whatever you're downloading is only one version beyond the originally deployed version -- assuming the numbering scheme has any significance (big leap there?).

Envious here though! Just checked, and my phone is still claiming that I'm "up to date"...

Ah... when I display System update history, it shows 23.31.23.en.US, without all the VZW crud in the name.

Marshmallow is now downloading. for real. first one was the update to allow me to download 6.0 !!!! 24.14.10.en.US

A soak test is being pushed to certain usersusers. If everything goes ok then an update may roll out within the next couple of weeksweeks.
