6P Screen Protector

Two things to add from other comments I've seen. I don't know who thought that this protector was not plastic and that it wouldn't bend. If I wanted to add actual glass as one poster thought that the Yoozon was, I would have gotten the Droid Turbo 2. Not quite sure what people are thinking these things are made of.

Yoozon is 100% glass, I just broke the one that didn't adhere to the corner. ;)

I installed the iVoler version that was posted for sale on this forum a few days ago. The corners are just fine and the proximity sensor cutout is working out great. I also have 2 XtremeGuard protectors on the way from another deal, but I may not have to use them unless this one breaks.

For my n5 I have bought 30/dollar 9h tempered glass and they are the same quality as 2 dollar ones on eBay and or Chinese websites.. Nillkin makes pretty good ones don't know if they have any for 6p

So are you saying we should RMA our device?

Im not sure but if I got one that over and over that I could not glass screen protectors to lay down I would try it. You could get a ruler and see if the edge lays flat on the screen. If its not Id RMA.

I really want to order one but with the reports of strange build quality issues and this Im really put off...

I just put another Pleson Glass on my friends 6P and it sent on flawlessly. Those that can't get them flat most likely have unlevel glass.

Just installed my IntelliArmor tempered glass. It did not come with the cutout at the bottom. It went on easy. No lifting anywhere (as of now).

Hoping I didn't slightly cover the proximity sensor...got it slight high. Hopefully it'll be okay.

Ordered Pleson glass screen protector. I've used their brand before and it's solid. Pretty nice tho :D Also, I found a coupon for $4 off if anyone is interested (for N6P only). Code is WBO6IQCG, use the code when check out on Amazon, price came to $2.99with free shipping. Better hurry up, not sure about the valid date.

Just picked one up with the code, thanks! I chose no rush shipping and got a $1 credit for Amazon videos, too, so it's like getting it for $1.99!

mutha F$&^(*!!! lol... Just got the iVoler protector and, sure enough, went on perfectly but a big half moon circle on the bottom right side that I've been pressing down for like 10mins now!!!! ARRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG

Just ordered the Pleson (thnx for the code!) and hope this one works....

Good luck. I think your phone may be slightly lifted though. :(

Ugg...Just ordered Thurs and got it yesterday :( Guess I'll try the Pleson one and then if it lifts, RMA the sucker back.
How the F is anyone supposed to know if it's a "good" glass or "bad" glass? I don't want to keep spending like $30-40 on stupid screen protectors just to find the next Nexus 6P I received has the issue?!?

Got my 2 intelliARMOR delivered yesterday. Very impressed. 1st one went to waste as I got dust on the sticky side and that was it. Hehehehe
Applied the 2nd one beautifully. The Sucker is great and feels smooth and nice. No finger prints. Love it.

I don't know why but I just ordered 2 more for the price of one using code Intelli6p
Ordered from their official site not Amazon.

Anyone tried the new Spigen ones? I ordered a couple from their eBay Store (always use that for Spigen purchases - it's so much cheaper). I got two for $19.98 and got shipping info today. I love their products and hope these are up to their usual quality.

That's the million dollar question that I can't answer. Order a few protectors for cheap and find out I guess. It's not ideal and definitely unacceptable though.

Yes, just installed the Spigen Crystal protector. Meets expectations. It extends relatively close to the edges, but the Spigen Thin Fit case does not interfere with the screen protector. However, I wonder if some cases might extend into the screen far enough to reach the protector.

I actually have one of those on. Solid protector. But I really wanted to know if anyone has used the TGSP from Spigen. I ordered a couple from their eBay Store. I love TGSP quite a bit more than the film ones. Although these are really nice too.

I got this one yesterday, intelliGLASS screen protector.

Mine has the same issue with multiple glass protectors including Plezon. Film protectors don't have the issue. I wonder if that corner isn't flat enough as stated in other posts.

Seems that others on XDA are having issues with theirs not laying down in the same area also. Some have RMAd their device and had no issues. Seems the glass screens may not be completely flat...

Just got my Yoozon Glass Protector. Happy to report it went without a hitch :) Steamed up the bathroom, let it settle, went in and made sure surface was clean. When I peeled off the back, made sure it faced down all the time as I lowered it to the screen surface very slowly. Wrapped some tape around my finger to stick and hold the lower end in place. That helped me line everything up. Came out perfect. No corner problems !
Aaaah ... oh what a relief it is.

Just installed my $2 TGSP from eBay to replace the Supershieldz one that didn't have the cut-outs (I had it shipped internationally via a shipping forwarder, so a replacement would've cost more). Sure the glass isn't as nice, but it definitely isn't bad, and for the same price as the Supershieldz TGSP I can buy 4 of these on free shipping.
