7.1.1 official?

I haven't gotten my update and I have never been on beta

Were you having issues or was it just for the heck of it? Did you see any improvement?

My phone is working fine so I'm trying to talk myself out of it...

Just for the heck of it but after six months of fiddling with the phone I find it nice to start over. Now I can mess up the settings from scratch.

can folks still enroll in the beta right now an get this update to 7.1.1 cuz waiting for it to get sent out is not working at still no update

ok i just enrolled and got an update it said 7.1.1 but it doesnt look like in the youtube videos so what happend?

I had the Android 7.1.1 beta. I got the Android 7.1.1 OTA last night. I can see no difference in the two except the beta had a splash screen that said it was the beta and you had to click the "OK" each time you booted the phone.

I would seriously suggest you take a deep breath, wait for the 7.1.1 OTA as it will come and you'll get it before most cellphone users in the world.

Well I bit the bullet and did a hard reset this morning. If you're prepared it really isn't too big of a deal. I backed up my texts and a couple of other things then let it rip. The phone was working fairly well so I wasn't expecting a huge leap in performance and didn't get one.

At least now I can stop wondering if a reset would improve anything.

I had unenrolled from the beta plan before I realized the implications. I didn't get the 7.1.1 update until I re-enrolled in the beta program... but got the official release at that point. I don't know why. Nevertheless, everything is peachy now.

I have an international Nexus 5X using it in the USA. Still don't have the 7.1.1 update yet. Anyone else?

I have the H791, too, and I got the update four days ago. I was using the 7.1.1 beta so I wasn't that eager.
