hey guys fairly new to this but basically i need some very simple instructions on how to basically get all the way back to stock include my more or les msdos menu what ever you call it but i need to talk my phone back to sprint really isn't working right it is over heating not charging, just being a pain in my ass so if you guys could get back to me asap i would greatly apprectiate it kind of a emergency!! thanks, p.s how hard is it to root stock phone running the new software that just came out i have to have my wireless tether. :-!

You can follow one of the guides to return to stock or use my nandroid. (Link in my Sig) and install super user from apps. That nandroid of mine is stock crotch its rooted. Hope it helps

does this bring the custom recovery back to the lg recovery that is basically the most important part i need the techs at sprint to realize my phone is ****ed up and not rooted so they give me another!!

Nah, nandroid is flashed from within the custom recovery so it would just restore the rom. For a full revert to stock you're gonna have to put in a little more effort.

Zefie has a guide to reverting to stock in the Stickies:
[How-To] Unroot your phone and return to stock.

One small morning, this will revert your phone back to V8, if you have a newer phone that came with VC on it your screen likely will not display anything. If this is the case don't panic, check out Warning #2 on:
[How-To] Revert to LS670V9, after installing OTA LS670VC/VD, using KP500 (Diag mode)

Basically just use screencast to emu the phone while you use the LG updater to get back to VC or VD and your screen will come back on.
