99.9% sure leak

Judging by the leaks so far the S6 seems better than the M9. Being that I have the M8 I was extremely disappointed by the minimal changes. All in all only thing about the m9 I'm interested in is Sense 7. It looked really good in the leaked video and will come to the M8

To be fair, smartphone updates aren't made for people upgrading on an annual basis. Most people (at leas in the U.S.) still buy phones through contracts only and upgrade once every two years when their contracts are up It doesn't matter who the manufacturer is, their updated models are only going to seem evolutionary to people who get new ones every year.

Very true. However I am in that exact segment (old phone looking to upgrade) and I am not buying a phone that looks 99% like the previous model. I have no interest in the Samsumgs because they all look the same. RIght now HTC is releasing the phone so I shall know whether or not Ill still be visiting M9 foruns in about 30 minutes.

Their poor foot, hope the hole isn't too big. Hilarious them talking up the design while completely ignoring almost all the legitimate complaints regarding it's design. Still a lovely looking phone but those grills and black bar, they stand out even more in that colour too.

this i agree with. very, very underwhelmed. not going too good on the xda threads either. glad i bought the new moto e 2015 and will wait for the flagship killer oneplus2.

Shame, though the 'dreaded' HTC black bar seems thinned down and it's perhaps a little wider then the M8. I'd have to play around with one, but I'm not seeing anything software or hardware wise that's a leap in any significant way over the M8 and M7; other then the camera.

If the S6 is a big leap over the S5, and it likely is, HTC is going to get buried in press coverage. The M9 reveal was really...understated to say the least.

Well that was incredibly underwhelming. I'm expecting huge smiles on the faces of everyone who takes to the stage at Samsung's reveal, might as well bring the HTC crew to roll out the red carpet at this point.
