A non-smart smart phone user

I am a new smart phone user with a very, very basic question. How on earth do I answer my cell phone when it rings! What do I push or swipe?

When someone calls your phone you should see a green "area" (it could be a circle or a rectangle/square). To answer simply swipe it to the opposite side of the screen that it is on. Hope this helps/works, it's never been different on any phone I've used but there is a first for everything.
