Thanks! I actually have that app on my phone but didn't see the intervalometer function. It works pretty well, just wish there was a .5 interval option. Maybe that's available on the paid version.
I'm mostly a hobbyist photographer and have always called them time lapses. But have seen more pro photographers use the term intervalometer. Searching for that does bring up quite a few different apps, but as you said mostly for controlling DSLRs.
I've created some time lapses on my Nikon and "drive lapses" using a GoPro. I prefer getting a photo stream because of the higher quality, being able to have long shutter speeds for "night lapses", etc. The apps that create time lapses probably just take video and then speed it up, not sure.
I recently purchased a gimbal for my phone and want to do some (moving/hyper) time lapses with the gimbal, which is why I'm looking for a simple intervalometer app.
