Just got a nice new hero and absolutely love it! I am going to vote for twidroid as that is the first client I used and how I found this competition ... due to trying to find out as much info as I can about android !

I've tried a few but I have to say that HTC Peep is the one for me on my G2 Touch. Simple and well intergrated.

My favourite client is Seesmic. I really like the UI, especially the fact that it remembers the position you last were in the timeline. The only thing I miss is identi.ca support.

Swift is my second favourite.

Tweetcaster is very nice in my opinion. It has good functionality for a mobile client.

I use Seesmic right now, very easy to switch back and forth between accounts and perform searches.

I've only had my android phone for a little while so I haven't had time to check them all out. I was really hoping for something great from hootsuite and maybe after a few updates it will be, but seesmic is really my favorite so far.

I prefer Twidroid, I've tried most of them though. It's simple and I haven't had any major issues with it, reason enough to keep using it.

I've tried about 5 or 6 Twitter apps since I got my Moment a few months ago and the winner would be Touiteur. It's a great app that's constantly improving. The dev visits this site to get feedback and delivers each time someone has a suggestion.

my best twitter app is TWICCA!

I have used twidroid free version, Seesmics, and Swift before I learned the existance of Twicca.

But Seesmics does not support the RT well (although it has strong pros with its multi-account support), and Swift was somewhat slow and interface was not that intuitive(but its light-weight was good). and Twidroid free version wasn't that good enough (although many ppl like its paid version).

On the other hand, Twicca is free, and fast - and simple and straight forward! although it does not support multi account, but I do not think many people have multiple accounts as I don't. So I think the Twicca is the best twitter app so far! the only thing this app needs is the timeline widget!

Twidroid Pro

When I got my Motorola Droid, I installed Twidroid. After a few days with the program, I purchased the Pro version. I have been very happy with Twidroid. It has a nice and clean interface, plus many options. I like how Twidroid has an option to automatically add geotags to tweets.

I have tested many other clients. Recently, I really like Touiteur. It has a very nice interface, but has bugs (its a new client, so I am sure the bugs will be worked out). I also tried Tweetcaster. Tweetcaster has a very nice interface, but lacks features that other twitter apps have. It is not enough for an app to look nice, but not work well.

For now...sticking with Twidroid, but Touiteur is right behind in second place.

Touiteur is my app of choice. I did not like any of the other twitter apps and the lack of a decent one made me miss Tweetdeck for the iPhone but now I have one that works as I need.

I have tried several, including Seesmic and Twidroid, but I always revert back to HTC Peep. Great widget wins me over and keeps bringing me back.
