I have 2 favorites, Google Glass and the Nexus 7. Both are 2 incredible device that Google as made or partnered with to get made!

Google Glass and the skydivers was amazing. And that was the last time I was able to get tickets to I/O so its a fond memory.

I was there when they announced Glass in the most epic x games way imaginable and were so excited about it they did it again!

A tie between the Nexus One and Google Glass. When I saw the Nexus One announcement I was intrigued and confused. What did it mean? I wanted one, but balked at the price (and ended up waiting some months and buying one on ebay). But when I finally got it, it was my first smart phone and I developed my first apps on it. Google Glass has the same kind of potential today. It's confusing and expensive right now, but it's changing how we interact with technology.

Looking back at the last couple of Google IO events, I'd have to say the Nexus 7 (2012) was the most interesting and successful. Google TV was also interesting but hasn't gone anywhere since.

Google Gears at an event called Google Developer Day 2007. Actually, ChromeOS & Chromebooks (Linux!)

Gotta be Android Studio from '13. I had been dealing with Eclipse. AS was definitely a step in the right direction.

Google Glass was one of coolest. With the xtreme BMX and skydivers. I must of watched that footage over a hundred time. :)

The Nexus 7 and Google Glass were both my favorite releases. The Nexus 7 at the time was the form factor that most people were looking for, not the big tablets that everyone was bring out but a portable form factor where you could read books with ease and do all you needed to do and then slip it into your bag. Google Glass though is just a revolution with the amount that it can and will do for many different groups endless, from accessibility methods to the traveller, and just your everyday walk around these things were hinted at and more during the reveal of this amazing product.

For me I would have to say the Chromebook Pixel...the screen resolution and just plain old awesomeness. Only problem I have with it was the price, but you can get them cheaper on eBay now.

Although not my favorite product, the Google Glass skydive was best announcement. It was fun, forward looking and got people to be excited about a Google product. The IO events that followed the year after for Glass were standing room only.

Looking for another announcement like that!
