AC forum app not working for me

I have a note 5. I subscribed to a thread. Kept getting emails. Rather not get emails and AC app notification. Can u just have the app notification?

Tried changing my email address so I wouldn't get email notifications to my phone. But the app is updating my info. Says it changed but still sending to my phone email.

Tried turning off notifications, still getting them.

If anyone knows of a fix I'd appreciate it.

It might work better if you go to the desktop browser site for the AC Forums. Click on the Settings dropdown menu right under your username, the select General Settings, and then click on the Default Thread Subscription Mode dropdown. Make sure it's not set to email.
