Haha yeah I caved. My sisters boyfriend bought it on saturday and after a few minutes of playing with it I was on the phone with verizon. They gave me an "exception upgrade" whatever that is. Probably due to the 2 previous reps I spoke to lied to me and had no idea what they were talking about.

I love working in a quality assurance department of a company. whenever they try to tell me things they can't do I tell them that they can do it and why they can do it.

same thing happened two weeks ago with my wife and the iphone. She was eligible in april, but two reps on the phone said she could do 30 days earlier and then said no so they got someone from marketing to do it

There's nothing negative here at all. I see legitimate complaints.

A forum full of people that fawn over a product/service/entertainment/whatever is just a gathering of fanboys, and nobody takes anybody like that seriously. They just make fun of them.

I like this phone probably more than any I've ever had, but there are several areas it falls short in.

For anybody using Google to do research before buying this phone, a place like this is worth gold because the posters here are being objective and honest, not negative.

It sucks that this forum has more posts and more active users, but seriously guys, the negativity is horrible.

Also, this appears to be a great thread to follow as this guy works at BB and has up to date information what is going on for them...
